Who is this course for?
The Light Salon’s Professional LED Training is a comprehensive, three-part course designed exclusively for ESPA therapists.
What will I learn in this course?
In Section One, we’ll introduce the collaboration and background of The Light Salon, setting the foundation for your understanding of LED therapy. You’ll explore the benefits and mechanics of light therapy, including its visible impact at the cellular and skin level.
We’ll also take a closer look at the renewal process, highlighting the optimal wavelengths used by The Light Salon and explaining how LED therapy supports ATP production – energising cells and helping to promote effective, visible results.
In Section Two, you’ll gain a clear understanding of key contraindications, precautions, and post-care considerations. We’ll also cover how to optimise treatments using LED-optimising skincare, including nano-dermabrasion, to further enhance visible results.

The course is offered online, allowing you to learn at your convenience.
How long does the course take to complete?
The course takes approximately 2-hours to complete, depending on your pace.
Will I receive a certificate upon completion?
Upon successfully completing both the Theory and Practical training courses, you’ll receive a Certificate of Achievement, recognising your expertise in LED light therapy and the ESPA x The Light Salon collaborative treatment.
Do I need any prior knowledge or qualifications?
Therapists must hold a Level 3 Beauty Therapy qualification or an equivalent certification and must have completed ESPA Essential Training before enrolling in The Light Salon Professional LED Theory Training.
Will I be able to use The Light Salon devices after completing this course?
Yes, the course provides guidance on integrating The Light Salon LED devices into professional treatments. This is followed by practical training, where treatment protocols are covered in detail.
Is there an exam or assessment?
Yes, the course concludes with a multiple-choice questionnaire to reinforce key concepts and ensure a thorough understanding.
How much does the course cost?
The course is priced at £50 per person and can be paid individually or by your workplace. It is free of charge for accounts that have training included in their opening order.
